Jacque Perli
Jacque has been reporting for 20 years and has experience in many venues including: depositions, grand jury, administrative hearings, public meetings, state and federal court proceedings, trials, Department of Labor proceedings, and licensing board hearings. After having attended three years at Arizona State University studying business and fine arts, Jacque attended the Institute of Court Reporting in Phoenix, AZ. After graduating from court reporting school, and immediately passing the Superior Court test, she began to fill in for the official reporters as well as working for freelance reporters covering depositions for about a year before moving to the Portland, OR area. Again, staying in the freelance court reporting field, Jacque worked in the greater Portland area but took work all along the coast, while beginning a new family and managing a 20-unit apartment complex. While in Oregon, Jacque passed the state CSR test and maintained that for several years, even after moving from the state. After 13 years away, Jacque returned home to Rapid City and has been in the freelance field continuously since that time.
On a more personal note, Jacque is married and has four children, with only the youngest still at home. She and husband, Keith, ranch south of Rapid City, running a cow/calf operation, raising AI’d registered bulls, still stacking hay the old-fashioned way, and working cattle with horses. The entire family is very community minded and spends many hours volunteering at the county fair and helping with various 4H programs, events at the Black Hills Stock Show, and Central States Fair. We love the Black Hills area, the people, the opportunity to raise our children with a strong sense of doing a hard day’s work for an honest day’s wage, and treating people the way you want to be treated. You will be treated in the same manner when dealing with Black Hills Reporting.
